Badgers and their setts do not mix well with new development of houses or factories. When new developments are planned a badger survey is often required by the Local Authority Planning Department to confirm if badgers are present in the area.
If there are no badgers, a simple report confirming this is all that is required. If badgers are found then a full survey and mitigation proposals will be required. |
